Hello,
I am a 45 year old, 6'1", blue eyes, dark brown hair, goatee, moderately hairy, Caucasian guy. I am a medical professional and enjoy what I do a lot. Originally from Kentucky but now residing in Raleigh, NC. My family is scattered around and with me being a late child (my parents were 40 when I was born), I only have my father left and an older sister. I have always sought ought friends as extended family being from a small family. I have a very strong spiritual side but not really religious. I enjoy churches with a more non-denominational spiritual tone. If you love animals than we would have that in common. I have always volunteered my time to help animals and currently have one dog and two cats. My personality type is rather laid back with a good sense of humor. I sometimes have to work at being optimistic but that seems easier as I have reached my 40's. But life can throw some strong curve balls and knock our little world out of balance.
I enjoy a lot of sports with basketball being my favorite. I like to watch football occasionally but not often. Sports I participate in are bowling, racquetball, hiking, boating, swimming, yoga, fishing, and volleyball. I love movies, going to ethnic restaurants, fireplaces, candlelight dinners, computer games, and exploring the Internet.
Dislikes include pretentious, self-centered, ego-maniac types that only think for themselves when it comes to the world and what they can contribute. Self-righteous types when it comes to religion turn me off also. If you think only one religion is the answer than I am probably not your type. My Ideal Person:
ideally would like a long-term monogamous relationship with someone who shares some of my values but not all. I am open-minded and appreciate others values. Flexibility is another of my good traits and I understand in dealing with a long-term partner or friend you have to work hard, and give and take.
Sexually I am a versatile guy and like to be safe. I am HIV negative and like to stay that way. I enjoy all aspects of sex but not really into anything kinky. I would consider some things to please another person as long as it is safe and not painful.
